FAQ
Short answers to the questions that come up most.
Does the script show up in Zoom or OBS?
No. Viewer windows are excluded from screen capture at the macOS window level, which covers recordings and screen shares alike. The editor window is a normal window and does appear; keep it off the captured display. See Recording Setup.
Does my script ever leave my Mac?
No. Scripts are plain .md files on your disk. There is no account, no cloud, no analytics, and the app makes exactly one kind of network request: license activation and validation. Offline, everything keeps working.
Can I put viewers on multiple displays?
Yes, that is the point. Drag any viewer onto any display; they all stay in sync. Each viewer keeps its own font size, opacity, and position.
Why is scrolling synced but not identical-looking?
Windows sync by fractional line position, not pixels. A viewer at 34pt and a strip at 16pt show different amounts of text, but both are always on the same sentence.
Does reinstalling reset the trial?
No. The trial clock survives reinstalls. If you need more time to evaluate, get in touch via support.
I bought a new Mac. How do I move my license?
Deactivate the old Mac from its License window, then activate the new one with the same key. Sold or wiped the old Mac first? Contact support and we’ll free the seat.
What does the license include?
One-time $24, up to 3 Macs at once, all 1.x updates. No subscription. See License and Trial.
What macOS versions are supported?
macOS 15.6 or later, Apple silicon and Intel.
